Memo to the reviewer
The reviewer must be guided by ethical principles for reviewers, developed by ANRI.
The most important marks in the review are:
- novelty;
- usefulness;
- originality.
These assessments must be presented in expanded form.
It is necessary to write a review objectively and constructively, refraining from hostile, slanderous and degrading comments.
The reviewer is obliged:
- to respond promptly enough to the proposal to write a review;
- not to delay the review process;
- not to make any details of the review public;
- not to involve anyone in the review;
- be specific in your critique and support it with convincing evidence;
- indicate which proposed additional research might support the findings of the peer-reviewed article and might enhance or expand the work;
- do not judge article in accordance with their stylistic preferences;
- immediately notify the journal if they find that they do not have sufficient knowledge to evaluate all aspects of the manuscript, without waiting for the date of submission of the review, as this will unduly delay the review process.
General requirements: Compliance with the rules for the design of articles adopted in the journal "Bulletin of New Medical Technologies".
Content Requirements:
- Self-sufficiency. The article should contain basic information on the topic.
- Visibility. The text may be accompanied by illustrations that facilitate the perception of the material, but do not repeat it.
Requirements for the quality of information:
- Compliance with the latest achievements of science and clinical practice.
- Accuracy, reliability and validity of the information provided.
- Use of the principles of evidence-based medicine, standardization of diagnostic and treatment procedures.
- Use of the latest classifications and nomenclatures: ICD-10, International System of Units SI, etc.
- Compliance of medicines names with the State Register of Medicines; the international non-proprietary name should be mentioned first, then the trade names most commonly used in Russia.
Requirements for the style of presentation:
- Rubrication. The structure of the text is set in advance - from the title of the article, through headings and subheadings to a separate sentence. Such a text is convenient to use and find what you are looking for.
- Consistency, consistency and simplicity of presentation without unnecessary details.
- Clarity of definitions, their availability for understanding by readers of the relevant courses.
- Unambiguous use of terms, consistent designation one term of homogeneous objects and phenomena.
- Compliance with the norms of the modern Russian language. Exclude: a lot of introductory words, clarifications that are not on the merits of the article, an excessive number of abbreviations.
- Highlighting key positions in the text in bold or in italics.
Note: Discussion articles, except for those of an anti-social nature, are accepted for publication after review and may be accompanied by a dissenting opinion of the editors.
The final part of the review substantiates the conclusions about the advisability of publishing materials in the journal "Bulletin of New Medical Technologies". In the case of a negative opinion of the reviewer, the conclusions of the latter should be sufficiently reasoned and clearly formulated in the final part of the review. The review must be signed by its author, indicating the place of work of the reviewer, his position, academic title and degree, the date is put and can be sent by e-mail.
